But a 5 times young, vibrant MP since 1998 (even before Sonia Gandhi came into politics), an organisational expert and committed to his people is *'Disastrous', 'Divisive*' and not fit for CM just because he is known for speaking hard facts touted as 'hate speech' by same media Lutyens which feels Rahul-Priyanka is Future of India ...!
They forgot that the Gorakhnath Temple Mahants have been in Politics since 1921, not much less than Congress.
Mahant Digvijay Nath joined the Congress in 1921. In 1936 he quit Congress and joined Hindu Mahasabha. He contested Lok Sabha election in 1967 as Hindu Mahasabha candidate and won. After him his successor Mahant Avaidyanath joined the Bharatiya Jab Sangh and won to become a member of the Lok Sabha in 1970 and on BJP ticket again in 1989. He made Yogi Adityanath his successor who has carried the tradition of his guru and mentors continuously since 1998. So the political history of Gorakhnath Peeth is much more relevant and consistence than the so called Nehru dynasty. Nehru was just a brat when Mahant Digvijaya Nath was at the forefront of Congress party politics. He consolidated the strength of other well known saints like Prabhudutt Brahmachari and others in order to strengthen the Hindu voice. Prior to the launching of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, its first President Shyama Prasad Mukherjee too was the President of the Hindu Mahasabha.
Personally, he is very fond of all kinds of pets, including a tiger, a cat, a few dogs and a monkey as his constant companions. He never takes food without feeding them first. The cat doesn't eat unless he too is eating.
There is a crocodile in the river who waits for him to feed by his own hands. He sits down at the river bank and calls him. The crocodile responds at once and gets food straight into its dreadful jaws from Yogiji's hands. Simply amazing!

Yogi Adityanath has a B.Sc. in Mathematics. He was the youngest MP in the 12th Loksabha, elected at 26 (min. age is 25) in 1998. Has been an MP since then, for nearly 20 years, 5 times.
He won even when BJP was weak nationally and faced a rout particularly in UP. His track record as an MP is stellar.
With 81% attendance in Loksabha, he has asked 157 questions so far in 16th LS and participated in 34 debates.
Barkhas and Rajdeeps of Lutyens can whine and cry as much as they need but they have not been right in decades and they won't be right this time.
Yogi Adityanath is an excellent choice and he has PM Modi's template to follow in terms of erasing the false narrative around him and becoming a Development and Governance icon.
In 2014, Amit Shah had requested him to tone down his statements so that he could project him as future CM of UP. *Yogiji flatly said, "If I have to Compromise on My Conscience, I will Quit Politics Altogether, I am a Sannyasi First.*
