How to Activate UAN and Access your E-Passbook.

ACTIVATE UAN AND ACCESS YOUR E-PASSBOOK:

Then go to the link "Activate UAN" and activate the UAN.




Fill in the UAN, Name as on your Payslip, DOB, Phone number and obtain the PIN and then the password. The password will come only to you, since that is confidential and will never be given to the employer by the PF dept.



THEN FOR BALANCE RELATED INFO (E-PASSBOOK):

After you activate the UAN, the e-passbook will be uploaded for the first time by the EPFO, Govt of India, in about 4-5 days. The e-passbook will contain monthly PF contributions made by you in column 2, PF contributions made by employer in column 3, Pension contribution (if any) made by employer in the last column 6.


Reading the e-passbook: PF deduction made in April’s payslip is deposited to the EPFO on May 15th as per EPFO rules and will reflect in the e-passbook under May.
